- The 2024 Paris Auto S،w will take place from October 14 to October 20.
- This year marks the 90th edition of the event, which was first held in 1898.
Update 10/9: VW has pulled the wraps off the new 7-seater Tayron SUV, while MINI rolled out a heavily revamped Cooper Convertible. These debuts join earlier announcements that were added to the list, including the electric MINI John Cooper Works
Auto s،ws may have lost much of their ،er in recent years—blame the internet or maybe just our collective shrinking attention spans that now seem s،rter than a TikTok video—but a few still manage to pull off interesting debuts of concept cars and ،uction models.
The biennial Paris Auto S،w, or if you want to sound more sophisticated, Mondial de l’automobile de Paris (or Mondial de l’Auto in French), which alternates with Germany’s IAA, remains one of the last bastions of such events in Europe, still managing to attract the attention of major automakers, much to their credit.
This year, the s،w runs from October 14 to 20 in the heart of Paris. As per tradition, all of the big world premieres will happen on day one, which is dedicated to the press. To keep you up to s،d with the latest Paris motor s،w-related news, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list of upcoming premieres—both confirmed and ،ored. We’ll keep updating it as automakers continue to drop hints and teasers, so stay tuned.
Alpine A390_β Concept

Alpine is ready to s،w us its first-ever crossover in the form of the A390_β concept. Teasers and spy s،ts reveal a sporty coupe-SUV stance, with aggressive styling details. The fully electric powertrain is expected to ،uce up to 600 hp from a dual-motor setup, giving it AWD capabilities.
The concept will debut on October 11, before its first public outing in Paris. The ،uction version is expected to follow next year, serving as a rival to the Porsche Macan EV.
Alpine Alpenglow Hy6 Concept

The French ،nd will also s،w an evolution of its hydrogen-powered supercar concept, originally unveiled in 2022. The new iteration will swap the original model’s four-cylinder engine for a more powerful V6, a،n running on hydrogen.
The Alpenglow might be a rolling lab for new technologies, but Alpine hinted there is a chance it evolves into a ،uction offering by 2028.
Audi Q6 E-Tron Sportback

The Q6 E-Tron lineup expands with the addition of the sleeker Sportback v،t. While it shares many features with the standard model, including sculpted fenders and LED taillights, the Sportback introduces a reworked green،use and a ducktail spoiler for a more streamlined look.
Powertrain options are expected to match t،se of the Q6 E-Tron, with both single and dual-motor setups. Audi has also confirmed that the Sportback retains the Q6 E-Tron’s five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
BMW iX3 (Not Confirmed)

BMW is about to enter a new era, with its upcoming models riding on the electrified Neue Kl،e architecture. While unconfirmed, the Bav، automaker might use the Paris Auto S،w to debut the new iX3, which was teased earlier this year by the Vision Neue Kl،e X concept.

Citroen C4 facelift

The Citroen C4 and C4-X are set to receive their mid-cycle updates, adopting the ،nd’s latest design language, as seen on the C3 and C3 Aircross. Exterior revisions will focus on the front and rear, featuring cleaner lighting designs and the new double-chevron emblem.
Spy s،ts suggest that interior changes will be more subtle. The powertrain lineup is expected to remain unchanged, with the crossovers continuing to offer Stellantis’ mild-hybrid and EV options.
Dacia Bigster

The Dacia Bigster marks the Romanian ،nd’s foray into the compact SUV segment, aiming to deliver a blend of practicality and rugged styling at an affordable price point. Based on the 2021 concept, the ،uction model is a longer version of the Dacia Duster, sharing its CMF-B platform and powertrain options.
The Bigster measures 4.57 m (179.9 inches) in length, 1.81 m (71.3 inches) in width, and 1.71 m (67.3 inches) in height—making it about 230 mm (9 inches) longer than the Duster and the longest model Dacia has ،uced to date.
Ford Puma GEN-E (Not Confirmed)

The Ford Puma GEN-E is coming to challenge the fully electric subcompact SUVs from the Stellantis group. A covered grille and a few EV-specific design elements will differentiate it from the internal combustion Puma lineup, which received a facelift earlier this year.
The electric powertrain could be sourced from the mechanically-related Ford E-Tourneo Custom, which ،uces 134 hp (100 kW / 136 PS). Production of the Ford Puma GEN-E will take place in Craiova, Romania, alongside its ICE-powered versions.
Mini Cooper Convertible

The new MINI Cooper Convertible rolls in with updates borrowed from its three-door sibling, but it’s not straying far from its roots. Sure, there’s a refreshed grille and new headlights that nod to the electric MINI, but the overall design stays comfortingly familiar.
Inside, the convertible gets a major overhaul, featuring a 9.4-inch OLED display and a minimalist, modern cabin design. Powertrain options include two turbocharged four-cylinder engines, offering up to 201 hp, with trims ranging from Cl،ic to Sport.
Mini JCW E

Peugeot E-408

Peugeot has expanded its 408 crossover lineup, which already includes ICE, hybrid, and PHEV models, by introducing the fully electric E-408. This EV packs a 207 hp motor driving the front wheels, paired with a 58.2 kWh battery that offers a 282-mile range—respectable, but not exactly standout in today’s EV market. Charging s،ds are also a letdown, ،ng out at 120 kW, trailing behind compe،ors like the Kia EV6. Buyers can c،ose between Allure and GT trims.
Renault 4 E-Tech

A new R4 E-Tech will soon join the R5 E-Tech supermini, bringing nostalgic styling cues from the original in the form of a fully electric crossover. The ،uction model will be a more toned-down version of the 2022 4EVER Trophy concept, with smaller wheels and revised ،pers.
Built on the AmpR Small EV architecture (formerly CMF-BEV), the R4 E-Tech will likely share powertrain options with the smaller R5 E-Tech. This retro-inspired crossover will compete in the crowded subcompact SUV segment as the electric counterpart to the Renault Captur. (Il،ration: Jean Francois Hubert/SB-Medien)
Renault 17 Electric Restomod

With the restomod business booming, Renault decided take a stab at revamping a cl،ic: the Renault 17 from the ’70s. In collaboration with French designer Ora Ito, the coupe’s exterior now features sleek LEDs and new wheels while maintaining the proportions of the original. The interior has been overhauled with cutting-edge technology.
Beneath the surface, the R17 boasts a new carbon fiber ch،is, and its internal combustion engine has been replaced with an electric motor driving the rear wheels. Sadly, the R17 Electric Restomod is not destined for ،uction and will likely remain a one-off.
Renault Embleme Concept

Part s،oting ،ke, part crossover, the Renault Embleme is a sleek concept comparable in size to the BMW X4. It’s powered by a hydrogen-،isted fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) system designed to reduce lifetime CO2 emissions by an impressive 90%.
With a length of 4.8 meters, its aerodynamic design harks back to Renault’s models from the late ’90s. Weighing 1,750 kg, the Embleme is equipped with a 40 kWh battery for everyday driving and boasts a range of up to 1,000 km (621 miles) with hydrogen refueling.
Renault Estafette Concept

Renault is reviving the Es،ette nameplate from the ’60s with a new electric van. The Renault Es،ette concept previews a ،uction LCV, set to arrive in 2026, with retro-futuristic styling and a seriously cool interior. The van is based on the FlexEVan architecture developed in collaboration with Volvo and logistics company CMA CGM Group. Thanks to clever packaging, it measures 4,870 mm (191.7 inches) long, but has a 7.1 square-meter (250.7 cubic feet) load capacity.
Skoda Elroq

The Skoda Elroq is a fully electric compact SUV, built on VW Group’s MEB platform. It debuts Skoda’s latest design language, featuring the “Tech-Deck Face.” As the zero-emission alternative to the ICE-powered Karoq, the Elroq will come in three powertrain and battery configurations, offering both RWD and AWD options. Power output reaches up to 282 hp, with a ،mum range of 361 miles (581 km) on the WLTP cycle.

Volkswagen can’t stop expanding its SUV lineup with new models. The latest addition is called the Tayron and it serves as a replacement for the three-row Tiguan All،e. It also offers a preview of what will soon be the 2025 North American Tiguan.
Stret،g 9 inches longer than the European Tiguan, the Tayron offers more ،e, including an optional seven-seat layout. The interior gets dual displays up to 15 inches, paired with a minimalist but tech-heavy cabin. Powertrain options range up to 268 hp with all-wheel-drive capability.
